Parisiana was a company where you could choose between over 30 different designs of marquetrie rim decoration. They also offered all kind of carvings as well as the whole range of 4-string banjos from soprano to bass. The most ordered style was the alto style which was a kind of short scaled tenor and mostly used in the French musette music. Of course all styles were as well available in 8 or 6 string versions. Below I show a few pages from one of their cataloges.
